| 1 | | Looking for People Leaving NYC, for Documentary! | |
Jul 01, 2009 - 12:35 AM - by DocMaker |
I'm a professional TV producer, currently producing an independent documentary short about people who are leaving NYC. If the following description fits you, or anyone you know, please get in touch! Shooting will be THIS WEEK (and possibly one day early next week), so please let me know asap.
Did you come to New York with a hope and a dream? Has that dream now been shattered? Perhaps the economic downturn has been a rude awakening. Or maybe you feel the city has changed in ways... [Read More] |

Jun 29, 2009 - 3:11 PM - by skytrekker |
The Exeter incident was a highly-publicized UFO sighting that occurred in September 1965, approximately 5 miles from Exeter, New Hampshire, in the neighboring community of Kensington. Although several separate sightings had been made by numerous witnesses in the weeks leading up to September 3, the specific incident, eventually to become by far the most famous, involved a local teenager and two police officers. The Exeter incident remains listed as unexplained by the United States Air Force. ... [Read More] |

Rain and damp weather only slowed the show today, and soon the skies around Dover will be very busy! "On again" "Off again" chatter has been taking place, minute by minute. The 2 p.m. show will have a 30 minute delay. It's a Go, and will continue through tomorrow. I've been to a few of these, and they are well worth the time. Here's the link. Jun 18, 2009 - 6:54 PM - by JoeS
I've been searching for someplace drier than on the east coast but as close to it as I can stay. One of the places that came up was Colorado, but towns like Pueblo and Alamosa which seem a little remote to me. Is there anyplace closer to a larger city such as Denver that has the drier weather and also maybe a lower elevation than Denver itself?

Jun 18, 2009 - 10:22 AM - by homeforus |
I have been reading through these messages and am getting discouraged...
Had been planning on moving to FL but have read nothing but negatives about jobs, real estate and horrible weather.
Is it really all bad? Please someone tell me something encouraging on life in FL. We were planning on driving there in the next week or two to check out some areas but am rethinking why.

Jun 17, 2009 - 6:43 PM - by skytrekker |
June thus far in the northeast has been awful- cool and with days of rain with downpours.
Today was the nicest day in weeks- but do not hold your breath- more rain after midnight- and tomorrow into tomorrow night and early Friday-
I feel like my feet should become webbed. |
16 Replies | 63 Views | | Camping the Gulf Coast
Jun 16, 2009 - 7:31 PM - by Wyody | There is something special about the Gulf Coast with cloudy moonlight striking soft shadows across the near-white sands, with the occasional billion stars peeking thru and then consuming clear-breaks in the clouds, everything shining right down on you during a very isolated, late-night skinny-dip in the giant ocean.
Distant waves shine silver and dim to gray and the breakers come ashore with an urgency not quite like the South Atlantic -... [Read More] |
