CandyApple: recalling sunsets over the Alaska Range across Cook Inlet, fresh crab and salmon, the smell of spruce in the air so clean she could easily see a hundred miles, the soft swish of mukluks in powder, "hmm, maybe Anchorage wasn't such a bad place, after all..."
