I have been torn between moving to Arizona or Maryland.

Maryland would be easiest, as I already have family there in the Annapolis area. They have offered help with moving, ie a place to stay until I find one, etc, but so far my research on housing has shown that it is extremely expensive.

My family in Maryland has advised NOT to move to the Baltimore area, but do move somewhere between Annapolis and D.C. if possible.

Any suggestions? So far, rentclicks.com and apartments.com have revealed little below $1000/Month as far as apartments go. Any suggestions? I am looking for something in the $800/month range.

I already found several affordable areas in Arizona, and job possibilities, but the sheer expense and trouble of moving there compared to moving to Maryland from Ohio, plus knowing Maryland and having family there, makes it an easier move. I love both states, but it seems Maryland is going to be too expensive.
