| Re: What I Like About Oregon
Darn Wyody, was just looking at some Satelite photo's of your area. Devil's Lake looks like most of it is private property with only a few entry points for everybody else. Is that the case of is it just hard to tell from the satelite? Can't say yet W53 - don't know. I've been around it a couple of times - stopped at a couple of places - met some folks with docks - but haven't learned it yet.
Focus at the north end of the lake where it crosses 101. As the road follows the south side of the lake, the first bldg is a boat-rental place. I think they open this month. At the south end of the lake ... on the north side - there's regatta-park and it looks like you can put-in there. I'll keep you posted.
(psssssst! 53! Hey ... they think it's winter here~!)
Look's like a nice quaint little town though Down south about 15 miles is Depoe Bay - whale-watching capital of the world, they say. It is known to some as a "Quaint little drinking town with a fishing problem" .
