Indeed, that is the new term I heard for people wanting Fred Thompson to run for President. I am not taken by any candidate at this time on the Republican side, and Fred sounds better than them all.

It is working up to be a really crappy presidential race if all of the players who are in the barn remain the only players. This is true on both sides of the isle.

Obama and Clinton... eek. Obama as the voice but absolutely no experiance and combined with his young age, ain't gunna happen. Clinton has the voice (that can sink 1000 ships) and has too much experiance (of the wrong kind).

All of the republicans..... BORING as all get out and mostly you see them trying to say the right thing to the "right", but their track record shows different.

WILD CARD: it is rumored that Al Gore may run as the Green candidate. If that is the case, he will suck so many voters away from the democratic party.... it just won't matter which republican runs.

It's waaaay to early for all of this political stuff and to have there be a confirmed candidate 16-18 months prior to the election... voter fatigue will show itself very early.
