I lived in Alaska (Anchorage) for a time as a kid and I liked the state but didn't like living there. But then I was a disgruntled teen that was taken away from my friends. The country side was amazing and all the places we visited. But the thought of ever living there again seemed unthinkable. Now that I am older...I wonder what is is really like to have a life up there. To live in a smaller place and a community where everyone knows everyone.

Can anyone give me any imput on this?
