Curious here. For those in Maine... what is the best area to live? I keep looking at Bar Harbor. Is that an isalnd or a coastal town? I have also looked at Bangor. Is that a big place or smaller type of town "feel?"

I lived in Maine for several months as when I was younger and I loved it there. So very beautiful...but didn't really encounter a winter. Are they as harsh as I have heard?
