Re: State Map

When the city profiles go up state maps would be awesome. It's nice to able to search by name, but sometimes you just want a map so you know where all these places are. Mmmm... clickable maps...

You know what would also be great? If you could download all the city profiles for each state as one zip file. Now that I'm offline, it's such a pain in the butt looking up cities, I find one that looks interesting and I have to make a special trip to the library to find it. I've been trying to just download ALL of the city profiles for Texas from city-poopoo, but it takes so long- I've done two library trips and haven't even gotten halfway through. And I can't install getright on public computers...

So please, pretty please, could you make zip files available for the city profiles when you get those up? It would be so helpful, thanks. :)

Another idea- mileage charts- I didn't know it was over 2000 miles from Anchorage, AK to Seattle, WA. I have a US atlas and that didn't even tell me, I had to look it up in the Fairbanks visitor's guide. Combine that and over 2000 miles from Seattle to Texas and it turns out I'm selling/giving away almost everything and flying down to Texas this summer! Wish I knew that sooner!

Also, it would be good if you could pick two (or more) cities, and it lists all the towns a certain distance (5 mi., 10 mi., etc.) from the road you'll be driving. That way you can decide if you want to stop in any of those towns on the way.
