as for the stainless.. I thought they would show fingerprints too but a lot now have a finish that keeps that from happening. Oh gosh I just went through the same ordeal. My better half wanted stainless and I thought black would look less dirty. After going back and forth back and forth I opted for black. I hope I did the right thing.
