Kind of rolling hills, very few trees. Windy. Very cold in the winter because they'res nothing to stop the wind. On nice days though, it can be really beautiful place to be. Good hunting and fishing. Mountains are just a few minutes west of town.
Only an hour or so from Denver and suburbs. So if you can't find it in Cheyenne, make a day out of going south.
It's an old town. Lost of western atmosphere. Cheyenne Frontier days is still one of the top 5 rodeo highlights in the nation. |
Small correction - Cheyenne has about 55,000 people. When the football stadium at UW is full it is the 3rd largest "city" in WY.
