most of my extended family is still in houston... another WONDERFUL place! but congested.

have many friends in dallas that love it there. it's the high society city... but still damn hot. big city congestion, too.

i sound like i'm brow beating my home state - i swear i'm not trying to. i just can't get past the tortuous heat. november to april it's a wonderful place to be! :D

but hands down, san antonio has got the best eats anywhere! everytime i go 'home' i gain at least 10 pounds. for real!
I'm totally with you regarding the food in San Antonio! I miss Chacho's and Taco Cabana and Papasito's and even the little hole-in-the-wall places that are just yummy.

I really didn't think San Antonio was very humid...I did at first, but then I moved to Baton Rouge which was incredibly humid with a negative breeze. (worse than no breeze at all)
