Okay, here's the deal ... stop whining!
Take yourself a trip - head toward Yellowstone - take the NE road that takes you near "Beartooth Pass" - this is one of the most incredibly awesome views I've ever seen - try for a day when it's at least partly-sunny. That black obsidian beartooth sticking out of the side of a mountain is just unreal - from the pass, you're actually looking at it from about 30 miles away - and it's real high elevation - even my truck breathing when I was up in there was a problem ... and it's a really isolated area of the park so take CB or some such - but you will never, ever forget that view.
Then, drive - go to West Yellowstone if you want - or go ahead and drop down thru Moose and Moran into Jackson. The only thing about Jackson worth seeing is, about 15 miles before you get there, you'll be parallel with the Grand Teton! Go ahead and hit Jackson - drop in the Million-Dollar saloon and the Elkhorn (I think it's called), then, get outta there - drive south and take the turn-off to Wilson. Keep going toward Driggs - after a few miles, look up to your right - you'll see the Grand Targhee - it's an awesome sight as well. Take a little drive thru Swan Valley - go all the way to Idaho Falls if you want. Then, turn around and go home ... or keep coming - I'll tell you when to stop.
