Hey Panterro, Destin is pretty much out of our league, also, but it is pretty. Too bad you were so close and we weren't able to show you around. Next time, for sure.
Destin is much more commercialized and caters to the more affluent population. It's nice to be only a few miles away and not have to pay for the scenery. The water should stay warm for a few more weeks...we went swimming through October last year and it still wasn't as cold as some of the Minnesota lakes in August!!

I've been to South Padre a few times...it's beautiful. Not quite as family-oriented as this area, but still very nice. Good to have you around, Pan.
