Re: How hot IS it in Texas, anyway?

It will never be pre-katrina.. thats the sad part. It is becomeing way commecial there with Casinos and Condos. The poor are being driven further inland to service the rich an pretty people living near the coast. Lot of locals are talking about leaving because the charm that was Gulfport and Biloxi is going byebye.

yeah I do miss it. you fall in love with stuff and dont realize it until its not there to just go see. I used to after work go out to the pier and walk out and sit and listen to the waves and feed the seagulls and be one with my thoughts. midnight walks with the wife were also fun.

Oh edgewater mall is looking good make sure to go check out soon.. and check out the dinos made out of sand.. they are life size. its awesome.

I really miss my job, I loved going to work, the people I was working with were great.. and the pay was awesome for the area. My landlord was great too very understanding. I also miss gulfport downtown, there is an old building I wish I could buy.. and restore. I have dreams of Long Beach and the tree lined drives, and the grass fed highway onramps how long and green they were. the mipmipmip of the frogs, and the weekly thunder storms. I love Thunder storms and they had many there. Oh yeah I miss it. dang it.
