Truth is, I usually dropped down into Utah to hunt - why mess up our own backyard, eh?
However, I rode as a spotter/guide up the backside of the Tetons ... actually up the Snake River/Absarokas with views of the Tetons - and the elk hunting there is fantastic! As are hunts for Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats and Bear!
A lot of folks down in the SW corner of the state fare well up BlackFork, behind Mountain View and Ft. Bridger on the north-slope of the Uinta Mtns.
