All forums need some level of moderation. What level meets that fine balance of freedom, and civility, I don't know. It's different for every board. Until a few days ago - I was the only one saying this.. but now I have had PM's from several people who are not liking the climate here, considering leaving, thinking CD isn't so bad...

That's not to say I haven't added to it... I fully take my lumps, and accept the responsibility for my part.

As for kids - there is a way to make it that anyone under the age of 18 can't post on this board without parental permission.

I was MORE than shocked actually, to find out we have a very young teenager on these forums that apparently chats with some of the adults from this site. As a parent, I am jaw dropped... and wonder where the kids parents are??
