Re: Valley Springs, CA

We are on red clay dirt and rock. The foothill mountain stuff. We are green until about late June and then we go dry until October. So we would most likely have to hay feed during the drier months. Don't know much about livestock but everyone around us has some kind of animal on their property. So I will ask around. We still have to finish the fencing. It is tough going here...every few inches you hit stones. During the summer the grounds to hard. So we will get some of it done this month and next.

We are use to a residental lot...been on this .6 acre for a couple of years. A lot of up keep...don't know how you manage the acreage. Do you have kids old enough to help you?

What kinda of crops do you grow in your area? Never been to Minnesota.
