Just as the topic sugest tell me about Bullhead city. I have been offered a job at one of the Casino's across the river and heard it was better or cheaper to live in BHC. So gimme the good the bad and the ugly of the place please.

Re: Tell me about BULLHEAD CITY

My inlaws were chef's for the Colorado Bell and they lived on the Bullhead side. We visited several times.

Miserably hot. We visited in early Jun and 113-115 degrees was common. I did a lot of fishing in the Colorado River. So I'd get up at 5 and fish for a couple hours, head back to the place we were staying and enjoy the air conditioning and then fish again about 7 in the evening. haha

Dry. I've never seen it rain while we were there. Desert terrain all around.

We went out to eat a few times, but we always went to the Laughlin side so I really can't tell you about the restaurants in Bullhead.

It was a clean little town. People were very friendly.

We stayed at the RV park at the North end of town. The RV park has 5 or 6 houses they bought. We'd rent one of those houses. $60 a night and it was 4 bedroom, would sleep 12. Kitchen utinsels, pots pans, etc were all in the cupboard. Maid service was every other day but just like a motel in that they cleaned, changed the sheets, did the dishes if there were any to do.

Re: Tell me about BULLHEAD CITY

My brother loved it there and lived there for years but he ran a jet ski/wave runner rental... I found it BORING!!!!! In the summer it is HOT but if you are a river rat... you are good. But when the water gets cold, there is NOTHING to do!

hahahahaha. It's all relative. When you live in an area that all of the streams (we call them cricks) are snow fed and about 33 degrees, water turning cold just can't get much colder then 33 degrees and it turns into hard water. hahahah Ice.

I'd bet that people in BH would love to get some of our cold water at times.

I would find that difficult to belive... as soon as the water cools a bit they all start complaining because they know their season is over!

You would find it difficult to believe that once water temp starts dropping below 33 degrees it gets hard (ice)????
