Oh OH, Snow in AZ?

I read Az got one and a half inches of snow...from Phoinex to Tuscon....pretty spooky huh?

Yeah I was a bit freaked out by that too... But then had to remember that back in Jan of 79 we had snow on the ground in Palm Springs CA. They declared it a snow day and I piled as many of my friends in my car and we went to the closest golf course and had snowball fights!

I heard that a few yrs ago there was a very light dusting here in S. Fl and nobody ventured outside as no one here knows how to drive on snow...LOL...plus there are no snow plows or salt trucks so if it did ever snow snow...we would have to wait till it melted...LOL

I was hoping with my move to Tucson I would be leaving the winters behind!!

i don't think you have much to worry about. not a normal occurance for that area. Like I mentioned measurable snowfall in Palm Springs in 79 and not since. Probably the same type of thing in Tucson.

Just like rain it came and it went faster than you can get up to see it. It was only a few areas of phoenix that was lucky enough to experience the 10 second phenomenon.

I didn't see any snow just rain.
