Not really. But I am constantly using skin creams! It does get dry and it does not help that our water is as hard as it gets. Watersoftner do help keep it softer.

I seem to have more of a challenge when it is cold and dry.

I would recommend it for a while until you get used to the dry.

My folks had a park model down there and they would travel down every winter. During the summer, my dad would put Celutex inserts in the windows. Then put a kiddy pool in the living room. In the center of the kiddy pool he put a plastic 50 gallon barrel. He'd fill it with water so things would not dry out. That was in May. 1st of July, a friend would stop by the folk's place and fill the barrel again because it would be empty. But when you have wood paneling, you need to keep it a little more moist then what the weather allows. It tends to last longer and keep it's finish better.

No. just a good air conditioner, water softener, skin cream and a swimming pool and you'll be fine.

Yeah like that pool will be any kind of a relief when the water is almost as hot as the air!!!!

I have been in my pool when it's 118 outside and although my pool is like bath water I'm still comfortable out there. I actually prefer my pool when I can just walk in and not get used to the water. I usually don't swim till late May and then maybe till mid Sept. that's it. I don't like cold water.
