Home in Arkansas

about 20 years ago I almost bought a home in a town called Alma in Arkansas. It was a 3 story with a basement and attic.. but I found it used to be the town hospital where the Dr lived and that kind of creeped me out as many people died in that house. But was it ever beautiful!

Arkansas has such a bad rep across the board. Does anyone know why? It really is a beautiful state. I often think about moving there but really don't know anyone there anymore. And I know no one in my family would ever live there!

The Ozarks are more than breathtaking from what I remember but I have no pics that I can get to, to remind myself. Does anyone have photos of Arkansas? Of some of the smaller towns?

Arkansas is a beautiful state...but the populace is pretty dumb in toto...I had the (mis)fortune of buying 3 condos in West Little Rock, off of Cantrell Road many years ago...heck, LR could not 'spell' condo ! I still have friends there, and there are some nice people there....a lot of them move to Memphis, which is really no better at all.....heck I even bought a Corvette from Gwatney Chev in Jacksonville (suburb of LR), and the people were great !...even met the owner himself and his son....both I consider friends of mine...the elder Gwatney (Harold) had sense enough to move out of Arkansas ! He moved right here in Florida...on Longboat Key...lol...about 10 min from me....I guess that says 'something'...hmm
