Thinking about moving to Arkansas from San Diego, CA? Tips? Help?

I am graduating early (on Halloween) and I am starting college during Spring... but I do not want to any type of higher education in CA because I know that I will be stuck here. I want to move somewhere cheaper, etc. And Fayetteville looks beautiful. My mother runs this company and she knows a lot of people from different parts of the US so I know that she can find me a good paying job somewhere, so money will not be an issue. What do you think of Arkansas? It looks really quiet and green. I like quiet and I like to just sit around and look at nature. I was thinking about going to school there? I want to move by the summer of '08. Even if I do not get a job that pays $600 a week, I get SSI until I'm 21 ($500) so rent will never be an issue.

I live in Arkansas. God surely made Arkansas on his best day. Summer is hot winter is mild. Skeeters are plentiful. I don't think you'll regret your move.

Arkansas has cheap everything including wages. Summers are HOT and winters are COLD. San Diego is a great place to live and it is where a lot of people in Arkansas would like to retire to.

If you go to Arkansas, visit the Bill Clinton Library and check out the Monica Lewinsky wing. You will have to go down
the stairs to find it.

I really doubt that many people from AR, or MO for that matter, want to live in San Diego. Who in their right mind would want to live in a socialistic state like CA, a place that cares more about an illegal than they do for their citizens, and a state that shows how little they care about real fairness at all, meaning that Hispanics come first and everyone esle be damned.

Quaker parrots are illegal in Calif as well

I used to love the Golden State back in the late '70's/early 80's-----with the exception of the Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree area, SoCal is essentially a toxic waste dump today culturally speaking

We lived in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. We moved their in 78 when their was some white people left. It went from a nice clean town to a crime ridden ghetto. Now the area is mostly black and hispanic, Spry paint, trash, filth everywhere you look.

As soon as we retired we got the ha out of the cesspools of SoCal. I know their nice areas in north Ca. but you still have to pay the California price tag to live their ..
