Pardee lake and camping

Hi everyone,

Just got back today from camping. Left to go camping one hour after finishing my deadline:) We decided to try Lake Pardee, which is only about 15 minutes from our house. It really isn't camping:) There are swimming pools and a snack bar. But the kids like riding their scooters and going swimming. We rented a paltoon boat and went for a ride over to the dam. The kids fished and we even stopped at the floating out houses:) Strange to see those floating on the water.

We did see two bald eagles and the kids played with toads. They got pretty dirty and didn't wash their hair for three days:) I guess it is kinda of like camping. Dad caught the bacon on fire and some burgers fell in the fire. But hey we were creating memories:) Well I'm home with the kids and my hubby stayed at the lake to fish with our adult son.

Can't wait to lie down in that nice soft bed:)

Izzy

It sounds like your family had a good time camping at Pardee Lake. Floating outhouses sound crazy. I am looking forward to doing more camping once I get back to Minnesota again.
