...good neighborhoods? I am looking to move to San Diego or Orange county in the next 2 or 3 months.
I vsited San Diego with my ex about 20 years ago, and thought it was nice.
I am looking for peoples advice.
I am looking to move into an Apartment for a few months, while i look for a house, so i'll have time to check out the City.

If i decide on Orange County, i'll do the same there.

Tell me which neighbor hood you currently live in and what you think of it.
Also let me know what other communities you have lived in.
What are the good points, or the bad?

If you like quiet, I would check out Poway or Coronado. The people in Poway are very friendly and open and in Coronado there are lots of places to walk to and you can take the ferry downtown if you have buisness there.

Twenty years ago is a very long time ago. Hope you are aware of how much it cost to live in both areas? Go to craigslist to see the cost of rentals and homes in both areas. Personally, I live the San Diego area better as there are great restaurants, museums, sites and attractions and I like the history. Orange County is a completely generic area in my opinion and very expensive with terrible traffic!
