I need to get out of my town and move to California. Suggestions?

I live in Massachusetts right now. I really don't have any friends in my town because no one really thinks like me. I want to get out of here and start over in California. The only problem is my parents don't want to move because they think it would be mean to me. I've told them that I don't mind moving but they don't believe me. I just need to get the **** out of my town.

Any suggestions?

Well if you're old enough, apply to a college out in cali. Just to let ya know, the price of living there is very EXPENSIVE! Goodluck to you. :-)

Who would be mean to you? All of California??? Listen my friend...one of the biggest differences between Ma., where I live now, and California where I lived my whole life is people are more geniune here in Ma. If you have trouble making or keeping friends in Ma. you will have a much harder time in Ca. You can't run away from yourself when you move somewhere. Where ever you go, you are still faced with your issues but maybe even worse living in a strange place with no friends or family. How about counseling to work our your issues first so you will have a clearer head if and when you move. Why California? What do you think will make Ca. paradise for you? Please don't tell me you want to be an actor.
