What's a good beginning for a book about a normal girl moving to the rich and

luxe Orange County, California? I'm writing a book about a unattractive, normal 15 year old girl moving to the snobby and glam Orange County, CA, but I often have trouble figuring out what the scene should be in the beginning. I want her to just find out that she is moving.

Where is she moving from?
Why does she have to move?
Has she always lived in the town/city/country from which she's moving?
What does she already know, if anything, about Orange County CA?

I hope YOU know Orange County. A lot of it fits your description, but certainly not all.

Your protagonist could know this: They vote Republican. There is the Crystal Cathedral and a museum about Nixon there.

There is a lot more there, so I just hope you know mostly about Orange County, then something about the place this realistic-sounding protagonist will be moving from. If you do, it will all work out.
