Deep Freeze in CA

I know this is impacting the citrus industry... But more personally how is this impacting you in your areas.

I hear that the tourism in the Coachella Valley is a bit slim due to the weather.

hmmm, I wouldn't say that it's impacting us too much here Silicon Valley. We had a black ice death on the freeway yesterday morning which. There are little bits of ice in the hose. You have to crank up the insufficient and costly heating system and put on more clothes. Since we don't get snow, there isn't much impact. Just some ice related stuff that we aren't used to dealing with around her.

Valley springs, ca has been pretty darn cold. No snow but ice forming on the ground from dripping water pipes. Using lots of firewood. Now if my little one would just keep her clothes on. Silly girl acts like it is the middle of summer.:)

No impact here that I've heard of, it's just strange that the numbers have been going so low lately. There's not much insulation here in this cottage, so it's taking a lot of electricity to heat, which I'm going to have to pay for eventually. Isn't this supposed to be California? Might as well have stayed in Massachusetts.

Cool Re: Deep Freeze in CA

PlAto, where in MA were you from. We lived in Plymouth,MA for 34 years. We were born in Boston. We miss our family but not the snow and cold. Florida weather is really lovely. We are here 3 years in April. The neighborhood is very nice but not very friendly. I guess it is because almost everyone works. I think everyone should move to any area they like and have the good life. I hope it warms up soon for you and yours.

Thank you, FLboy. I lived in Pittsfield, and in Northampton, and for a little while near Boston in Waltham.
