Here are some pictures of our area. All taken within an hour to an hour and half from here. All within the last couple of years. Izzy.

On highway 88 going towards tahoe from Valley Springs

Between Valley Springs and Stockton California

Near Volcano on Hwy 88

Walnut orchards between Valley Springs and Stockton California

Not far from "big trees park" on hwy 88 in california

We have several lakes near us the old bank, door, creek, plow, vinyard are on the way to the lakes and on hwy 26 going towards stockton, ca from Valley springs

The above four pictures are of the "Big trees park area on hwy 88 and off of that road.

I second that T.S. but wow what wonderful pictures. I have a favorite one too.. even though they are all good. This one has great contrast and depth. It makes you want to go further and explore. What a great shot this is..

Thanks folks. The one Pan likes is actually right out side the door of my customer's office. They live in the middle of walnut groves. They have peacocks too. Have you ever heard a peacock call. They sound like loud big cats.

I have seen some beautiful areas of CA but not where I was living for the most part. Thanks for posting them and reminding me that CA can be a beautiful place to be and live.

Yes, fall, winter, spring are really pretty here. I sometimes forget how lucky we are to live in such a pretty area. Grass is greener kind of thoughts. Hope you and yours have happy holidays Azi. I'm getting in the spirit:)
