Goin into the Navy. Maybe moving to Colorado after. How are the job opps

for Police Officers and Firefighters? Ok I am going into the Navy in a few months, i'll be in for 4 years. When I do get out I will be looking for a place to put a down payment on a home. I've always wanted to move to either Fort Collins or Colorado Springs. During my time in the Navy I am sure I will visit both of them on leave. I plan on going into either the Law Enforcement/Park Ranger field or the Fire Fighting field (leaning towards fire fighter). Are job opportunities currently available in those regions, or have they been available in the past.

I know a lot will change in four years, but those two fields are the only careers I have ever wanted to go into as a career and it'd be nice to move to an area where I can find a job within 30-45 minutes of each. I love the mountains and forests and the snow and think either place would be a very nice place to live. Currently I am living in the San Francisco Bay area with family, and it is impossible to own a home here heh. Lookin in the $150,000-250k range Thanks.
