Should I move to Colorado?

My boyfriend who I am madly in love with is in the marines. He is out in November and plans to move back to his family in Colorado. I adore his family and likewise. All of my family is in California,I talk to them but do not get along great with them. Do you think it is a positive choice to move in with them? His family is ecstatic about it and I would love a change.
I am young and most people might think i am doing it in spite of my family, however that is not the reason. I do not live with them currently, they live a few hours north. I do talk to them on a regular basis, i just dont have a fantastic relationship with them. I know i will be provided a place to live for free and i will be taken care of. I have an education and the job market is outstanding. Although the pay is less, the cost of living is substancialy lower, so financially is it smarter to live in CO. It is smarter for the future for things such as retirement. I am also sick of California and the ridiculous antics, ethics, and morals(well lack of i should say). I do not think it is a great place to raise a family

How old are you?

The way you talk about your families makes it sound like you are very young.

Frankly, I wouldn't want to live with my family or my wife's family. If you have the financial ability to get a place of your own, you should.

As for CO, why not? Change is always good. If you really want to be with him and you are only lukewarm on CA, go for it. Have you investigated the job market there?
