Ya stay about 1 to 2 hrs out of the way of all major cities. Well check out Steamboat Springs that is nice. But go during the rain season. The dessert is down right Beautiful. And the colors in the sand it is like looking at a rainbow on the ground.

I recommend Lake Dillon!!! It is beautiful in the summer time! Keep in mind that Co has it's mountain areas lush and green and it also has the desert. And I do know in July...it rains a lot... and those hard monsoon type of rains. And MOST IMPORTANT...make reservations ahead of time!!! Even in an RV. Or like us you will end up driving more hours out of the way to find a place to park your behinds at night! Seems we were not the only people that thought a road trip through CO was a good idea in July!!! Imagine that!!!

Remember this. Wal-Mart is RV friendly. You can park your RV overnight in any Wal-Mart parking lot.

I've done that in Colorado so that I wasn't stuck driving out of my way trying to find something. If you can hit an RV park every 3rd day, Wal-Mart will work. They're easyer to find then an RV space that's available and will work in a jamb.

Yea, I heard that Wal-Mart has a list of stores that allows RV parking for overnight. I can't wait to hit the road. First, we have to move into the new house then eventually get the RV!
