I still listen to Pandora often. I think the music library has expanded and the matching has gained accuracy since this was first posted here. If you like to listen to music and have never checked out the site, give it a try.

I just dropped in over there - don't have a lot of time to sit and listen but I am expecting a flashback or two.
I still plug-in to a station out of Salt Lake City - broadcasting from behind the Zion curtain - that plays just about everything ... Greek to Oriental, Native American to Native African, Rock to Classical, Cowboy to New Age, Industrial to ... well, they play a lot of stuff. KRCL 90.9 FM if anybody's up for it - check the program guide.
But thanks for this - anything to keep me in my 20's.

my place to hang is Live365.com until recently it was free to listen to most of the stations, but now it limited free, everything else by subscription, which the duff has one of those. That's were I get my disney fix. They have one station totally dedicated to the haunted mansion... including the original recordings and mixes for the ride. Pretty cool to hear all of the songs in french also. Oui!

I remember this. I think you posted it quite some time ago - or someone else did - back in the Scirocco I days if I recall correctly.

Pan, I remember that your music from the MySpace site was awesome - would imagine you've got quite the thing going at Pandora. Mine, so far, is pretty laid back ... mired in folk and acoustic Native while I search for just the right riffs to trigger my flashbacks.

I have some tribal, some monk chants, some old rock, some new rock, some country, some trance/ambiant/techno, some jazz, some goth. But yeah I have a good selection. I like music.. I just dont get into hate metal, most Mexican/hispanic music, or much rap.. there are a couple rap songs I like.. but they are rather old. =)

But I love to listen to Indian ( American ) Chants and music, as well as monk chants set to a Ambiant backgound.

I use it all the time now. I have at least six stations programmed into it including a Party Mix one I made up with my friends. We all selected things that we like from a variety of different styles and it works great. It's a good compromise for a get together where no one seems to agree on what kind of music to play.

Recently I came across another free internet radio website called Musicovery. It plays new music based on whatever mood you select. I think it's worth a look.
