Shear numbers

Well, it looks like somebody is posting all over the place just trying to make shear numbers and offer absolutely no content to anything here.

If it's not one thing on here, it's another.

Figureing that she's behind about 300 messages, I'll just wait about 3 hours and then come in and do a "Mark all as read".

Re: Shear numbers

btw, is there a rule on how much one can post? I don't think there is.
Hubby will be coming down and taking over the computer. I admit it.
I am addicted here.

Re: Shear numbers

Where did you go Wyoming? Don't understand what is the big deal anyway.
You don't have to respond if you don't want to. It's ok, I understand.

You can mark all as read and move on if you choose to. :)

Re: Shear numbers

Well, some call it spamming.. and on other places I visit you would be banned for it. Some of what you have is Spam, some is catching up.. it does look like your trying to up your post count though.. so he has a valid argumemnt.

I am sure after tonight the rules will be in place, and we will know if there will be a rule or not. Speaking of your arguement though on if there is a rule or not.. there is also no law or rule that says you can not stick an ice pick up your nose.. how often do you do that? Just because there is no rule does not mean you have a right to spam a forum. Do you get where I am comimg from?

I am in no way getting on you about your posting.. even though you have made many topics on the same subject, and we have already talked about that. =)

Re: Shear numbers

I gottcha Panterro. I was just rambling on today. I will be quieter now.
I am still learning all this forum rule stuff even though I have been on them for a while.
I learned my lesson at CD. I am not talking about advertising things here though. I am just talking too much!!!

No spam from me.
Question: Is talking too much Spam? what basically is spam? Mentioning things all over the forum?
Help!

I went for a walk. Walked 3 miles. Personal all time distance record since I got out of the hospital.

When I was in the military, I run 5 miles 3 or 4 times a week. to go from that to having difficulty walking to get the mail (1/2 mile) is a real downer. I try to get a little more distance every day. But today was way tooooooo much. I have the feeling I'm going to be in the hurt locker tonight.

Don't overdue it Wyoming. I know about aches and pains. I sometimes wake up at night and all my joints are killin' me. It's tough getting older.
I sometimes take Tylenol for the arthritis pain. It seems to work good.

I was Navy also. My Son is a Marine stationed about 50 miles West from Bahgdad. My fiance is on a base about 200 miles East of Bahgdad.

I once asked my son if he knew the difference between Navy going to Battle and Marines going to Battle. he said no.

Marines get the biggest bandalier with the most ammunition. The biggest ammunition for the biggest gun they can find. They load on about 40 lbs of granades. They wear about 30 lbs of flack jacket and helmet. They lug the biggest rocket launcher they can carry. They put on war paint and jump in the water and wade ashore, through the swamp.

Navy goes to war. They pull in real close to the beach and kick the marines off and then go back out to sea and drink coffee until the Marines call to be picked up.

That reminds me of a joke I heard..

Why does the navy have Marines on thier Ships?

Sheep would be too obvious.

Good one.

Or, why is it that Submarine sailors go to sea with 110 crew members and come back with 55 couples?
