Was it Joe Tex?

I don't know why that name popped up. I normally only listen to two types of music. Country and Western. Course, I've got 7 kids so that might be where I heard it.

Yeah, I don't like Oprah either. I don't don't like those high squeaky singers either.

Can't even understand what they are saying.

I love Toby Keith! He is a great singer and his songs are from the heart.
Faith Hill is also a favorite as well as Leanne Wormick. sp?

Re: Remember the song "I gottcha?"

My favorite song of all time is "Amazing Grace". Both my daughters middle names are Grace...because of the song.

Who is your favorite artist singing that?

3 weeks ago, my Stepmother passed away. One of her requests for years was Amazing Grace by Elvis Presley. She got her wish.

Re: Remember the song "I gottcha?"

I like Elvis's version...but there is another. I can't remember her name right now...but I will look it up on my cd. She sings it without music...all voice...brings tears to my eyes...and joy to my soul.:) Your Stepmother picked a wonderful song.

Elvis was able to convey so much feeling into his songs. I'm sorry about your Stepmother, Wyoming.

One of my favorites by Elvis is the American Trilogy...almost has a patriotic feel to it.
