Pants Stupid Idea Thread

I was with my wife and daughter at the beach today, looking at the old Sharkhead building. It was destroyed by Katrina.. So anyways I was looking at the building and if I had the money what I would do to it came into my head.

I would open a place called... Nick-Nack, Patty-Wack, give the dog a bone.

It would sell Nick Nacks and collectable items.. like T-shirts, and other trinkets you get along side the beach. Patty Wack, would be a resturant, where we serve beach side food.. and cold cold beer. And because you should never forget your 4 legged family members, we would have pet treats, and clothing to get for them as well.

Ahh if only I had money.. =)

What a great idea!!!!! Do what my brother does...he uses everyone else's money. Investors!

That's actually a really good idea! We specifically look for places to eat and go to where you can sit and watch the activity on the beach...and of course, the sunsets.

And you could conceivably obtain a Grant from the Americans to refurbish and open such a place in a disaster area.

I would try, but I think it has been bought already.. there is a huge crane parked next to it. I think it will soon be the spot of yet another Condo unit..

All Ameican Burger..

It would be a throw back to the early burger joints.. the ones some of you cruised to in your 1964 Chevy.. The red white and blue striped bags, with stars and a catchy logo and slogan on them. Something like, ALL AMERICAN BURGER, Home of the Free, the Brave, the .39 cent hamburger.

It would sell all the good things.. Corn Dogs, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Hamburgers, Cheese Burgers, Freedom Fries, Oinion Rings, Tater Tots.. Ice cream.. all the stuff a good ol 60s diner may sell. Heck if I could build it round like the drive up places used to be with cop hops on roller skates and a nice dine in area with a juke box.. bring back some of that good old Americana.

I would offer Car clubs that drove period cars a discount to eat at my place, and hang there when they can..

I would try to keep the prices low.. still making a profit mind you.. and offer the best food around.

Kid meals, you can give old time stuff.. like Xray glasses, decorder rings, and plastic Dinosaurs...

Just another one of my ideas..
