So, returned home from the grocery store this evening and started to put the soda (or pop) away. I opened the side of the 12-pack and sure enough, the cans rolled off the counter and onto the floor before I knew what was happening. All of a sudden...psst, psst, psst...three of them had exploded and were spraying EVERYWHERE. Yes, it's funny, now. It was incredibly annoying, then.

Soda is not like water. Soda contains sticky sugar which is a pain in the woo hoo to clean up.

That's been cleaned up and taken care of, but now I'm freezing my bootie off. It's kind of a long story, but our landlord is sending someone out to replace our thermostat tomorrow because it sends a continuous signal to the unit outside. (I guess a/c people just know that) Anyway, one of our friends showed us how to jerry-rig the wires in the thermostat so that we wouldn't sweat to death. (it reached 89 degrees, earlier) The problem is that the unit is CONTINUOUSLY on now and it's at about 65 degrees...I'm cold natured, so I have a huge sweatshirt, t-shirt, sweats and socks on and it's about 80 degrees outside.

I am dealing with this because my hubby is warm natured and loves it really cold. I don't think he's going to be too happy when the bill arrives.

This was a typical day in my life, just so you know.

It's always an adventure at our house! Keeps me busy and I don't mind that at all.

Wow! You would have felt right at home last night! Now it's at a balmy 77 degrees...until the boss gets home.

I think we'll compromise and keep it around the mid 70's at night, though...those electric bills can get a little steep and I would hate to have to put on my snowmobile suit to keep warm.

Oh Cuddles when Azi was really little and The first day I brought him home he was underfoot. I pulled a sprite can out of the fridge and it slipped and hit the ground and exploded...right next to Azi! The can started spinning and spraying at the same time and His little Majesty tried to run but could get no traction because of the soda (pop). He would try to run and slip and fall and roll and he did that several times before I grabbed him up. Everyone in the house was in hysterics over it. I took him straight to the sink and bathed him. Poor wet kitty!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhhh you would be disappointed as I don't drink beer...however... give me a few gin and tonics and I can be pretty entertaining!!!

We played volleyball on Wednesday night and brought our friends back to our house and ended up playing Catch-Phrase and singing karaoke until about 4:00 a.m. We always have a great time!

Gin and tonic? If I HAVE to drink alcohol, I would probably have a Cape Cod or Cuba Libra. (Cranberry and Vodka) Sometimes I just say the heck with it and go for the Colt 45. No, not really.

Since we've lived here, everyone is talking about visiting...no one really wanted to visit us when we were in Baton Rouge.

My family came down for Christmas and cannot wait to come back! My sister's even going to be job hunting while she's down here. It's THAT AWESOME!!

I just can't help it!

I don't think I would care for other places in Florida, from what I've heard. This is just a small community which is unspoiled by commercialism, so far. I understand, though...there are people who love Minnesota...it's not my cup of tea at all. Great place to grow up, but much too cold for me. Where else would you like to live possibly, besides Washington?

The New England area... More so Maine or Mass I love those places. Beautiful and fresh air. I do like certain parts of CO but a bit too far from the ocean for my taste. Have to be with in at least half a days drive!!!

MyAzi I know I am going off topic but that is a nice looking cat. I am more of a dog person but I wouldn't mind owning a cool looking cat like that. He looks like he knows it to.
