Okay, I posted and checked back several times today. Granted I have been busy lately and frankly not much happening here. So I've been visiting our neighbors city-data:) It is summer time. I should be working...but I am finding distractions:) How is everyone...and what have you'll be doing for fun this summer? Izzy

Well, I spent all afternoon in the hospital. But this time it wasn't me. My newest, shineyist grandaughter was born at 4:55pm. 8 pounds 1 ounce. 20.5 inches long.

53 What a day. A new grand baby. I bet she'll love fishing too. Girls do like to fish...you know that right. They get your undivided attention:) What's her name? I'm so glad it wasn't you breaking something that took you there:) Izzy Moving to the beach Cuban? My idea of Paradise. Did you already make the move or is it soon? Izzy

| Re: H-E-L-L-O! Lucy, I'm home:) I spent the day telling "Fiddy-Three" to get a job ... then I spent part of the day painting an apartment, part of the day solving some packaging and shipping problems for a small enterprise, a part of the evening trying to talk with a 400 year old Sitka Spruce ... and her boyfriend, finished up painting an apartment, spent the evening hiding in my room and the night asleep ... mostly. ... and congratulations Gramps. Always something with you. I think we take more credit for the grandkids that we're willing to take for the kids!

Now if I could get my hubby to do some painting around here. I guess I could just start painting...he'll tell me I'm doing it wrong and take over:) I don't care if a man shows me how to do a job...right.:) You had a busy day Wyody and have more energy then I do. I should be working right now...but I'm avoiding it:) Awwww, grandkids. I just love when they tell mom and dad they don't want to go home. They want to stay at Grandma's house.:) When I keep them too long the daughter-in-laws think I'm trying to kidnap them for good. Call and want their kids back. Dang...kids should be raised by grandma and grandpa...we believe the world goes around because of them. Izzy

Congrats to ya Grandpa! What a pretty name she has. Bet she is getting alot of hugs from you too. Izzie, I painted our second bedroom all by myself last month. I think I did a better job than hubby!!! I usually faux paint but never really painted with a roller before. The faux painting came out beautiful. I did have to give the other walls a second coat with the roller. I am proud to say "I did it myself!" ![]() Oh yes, back to the original question: I have been busy out in the gardens pulling those darn weeds. I will get the place in order soon. We are going to side the house, put in new windows. We gutted the bathroom out over the weekend also. Everything will be new in it!!! The next project would be the kitchen eventually and the livingroom and a big front porch out front. A propane stove in the livingroom, new flooring in the kitchen, lvrm, and hallways, and then redo the main bath. Lots of work in the summertime. This may even go into the next two summertimes!
