Free Photo Storage??

Just found out that Yahoo is closing "Yahoo Photos".
I've got a mess of genalogy-related pics over there from various sources - some are important.
I had switched everything over to there as there's no "sub-file" on my gen-site ... can't store enough info along with the pics eh?
Does anyone know a free storage site that isn't a sharing site?
I don't download - as I've never even owned a digital camera so I don't need all the services - just somplace safe to store them for a while 'til we get our own 'puter back up and running (which should be within the next coupla months - mother-in-law is finally moving out!!!!!).

Thanks MJ - I believe Yahoo is shutting down their "My Photos" section to sell Flickr.
I also went to 3 of the sites you listed - there is a monthly fee.
To explain: at present time - and for the past many months, I have been unable to set up my home PC and have been using our office computer - to which I cannot download many things -(IM, programs, set-up my own files, etc) - so I'm looking for a temporary place to hold some genealogical pics for a couple of months or so - it was easy at Yahoo just to save my pics there - no muss, no fuss, no fee. Now, beginning Sept 20th, not only is there fuss and muss, they're closing it.
When I set up, I can save to and download from my PC. These are pics that won't fit into my gensites - yet, anyway - but are keepable just in case ... plus a few personal pics.
Thanks for the info - I'm not sure these are the ticket but I'll keep checking into it.

I know that Photobucket is FREE because I use it all of the time. Check it out.

Thanks Catfish; I have viewed a lot of things on/from Photobucket - but didn't quite understand how these things work. I was thinking that Yahoo Photos was not a "sharing" site - but I see that they are so, I suppose it just doesn't matter like I thought I did.
I have not yet began to understand why there are "sharing" sites ... but I'll get there someday ... as fast as these old cyber-legs will carry me.

Thanks PDX and welcome home.
I can't download yet - so will probably have to transfer them to Flickr for a little while ... I guess it's free if you only have so much ... and I only have so much.
But then, soon, I'll be able to download and maybe I'll jump over there - I really need to crop some shots and play with my avatar(s).
