| again, illegals take away from U.S. citizens
Once again, illegals take away from U.S. citizens -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I posted this in the Texas forum, but I wanted the whole country to see what's going on down here, and maybe in your neck of the woods too. I just wanted to let you folks know what is going on in this city and why so many Dallasites, Texans, and Americans want all of these illegals out of here. My stepfather has COPD and emphysema. He can barely breathe and due to this fact, can no longer work. He can't even take the trash to the curb without nearly fainting. Two weeks ago, I took him to Parkland (the only public hospital in Dallas) to see a doctor. We waited all day and never saw one. Only a physician's assistant, whatever that is. Nothing but illegals in there that time. They didn't admit him (although they admitted plenty of these illegals who spoke absolutely no English so they could deliver their "anchor babies." I was informed that in order for my stepfather to get a health card, I needed the form stating that he was denied unemployment benefits. Went back today with him and the paperwork. Again, nothing but non-English speaking people enrolling their "anchor babies" in the CHIPs (Children's Health Insurance Program provided by the state). This time, I was told that he had to go down to the Texas Workforce Commission and apply for a job. I told them that he was disabled and we needed a doctor to certify this. Was told, couldn't see a doctor to certify disability w/o going to TWC to apply for a job. Now, does that make sense to you? This woman actually told me to take him down to the Salvation Army (which in Dallas is a VERY dangerous place), have him spend the night, and get a letter from them to declare him homeless. Unbelieveable. I am fed up! I've had it up to here with the county and the federal gov't refusing to address this situation. It is a disgrace when all these illegals can come here, have their "anchor babies," crowd the only public hospital in Dallas county, and drain our resources, BUT A UNITED STATES CITIZEN who has worked hard all his life, paid his taxes, and obeyed the law is DENIED any kind of help. I told my stepfather that, even if I acquired all of the necessary papers that they requested of me this time, if we went back, they would find something else for me to dig up. It reminded me of the John Grishom book "The Rainmaker" where the claims rep said that it was policy to deny all claims for a year in the hopes that the policyholder would just give up and go away, which most of them did. |

| Re: again, illegals take away from U.S. citizens Can't really tell what your complaint is - or who it's directed at. Can't be with or at the illegals because they're just getting what they need - you'd do the same for your kid(s). Can't be the grandfather because he's just after what he's supposed to have. Must be the system ... "our" system ... as imposed by the Bush administration? However, this story occurs in Texas where, swear-to-God, they still like Bush! So, does nothing to aim at Bush ... or NAFTA ... or Clinton ... or Osama. I have to wonder who is actually to blame? We've had a serious beef with the health-care industry for decades now - and things only get worse. Even Doctors have a serious beef with the health-care industry ... they often don't get paid (ever)! They often leave the business 'cause they can't get paid or they got jacked-around for their "malpractice insurance" which got all jacked around by greedy Americans (can't blame that one on the illegals). Is the Hospital to blame? Is the state of Tejas to blame? Is it the U.S. Government? Or, is it once again the failure of generations past (including ours) - for not getting down to solving problems as and even before they occur - and instead allowing every little detail to get thrown into "crisis management". Would solving these problems mean throwing our whole system in the trash can? Again - not to negate your report Catfish - time needs to be spent on SOLUTIONS!! Everybody and their brother can waste time complaining - who will fix it? Without the shotgun??

Mexicans: Go back to Mexico and make a home there where your from. Why are your hear to clog up our system?? If your such hard working, family oriented, law abiding citizens then why don't you go back home and do something about that place that has gone to hell. you should do something for your country like were doing for ours such as getting you the hell outta here! We should be proud we are on the forefront of immigration reform. We need everyone to support what Sullivan is doing to protect "our" country for ourselves and our children. We want this a nice place to live without illegal aliens overrunning our safety, health care and our legally earned tax dollars. If the Mexicans want to make a difference go back home and help turn your country into a place that no one wants to leave. |

| Re: again, illegals take away from U.S. citizens It's beginning to be one fine argument for hiring the Mexicans to come and take Arkansas back for us. Maybe I'll just send my Uncle who is Mexican. Retired U.S. Military. Funny, I've never asked him his feelings on this issue. Hey, Catfish! ... I'm just as scart of half the people already here who are called "legit" Americans as I am of anybody that crosses the border. Don't know if you were around - but we were taught to fear them all when I was a kid - white, black, brown, off-white, off-brown, off-black, red, yellow, green and all colors in between. Guess you didn't know about all those years the Canadian companies were down here in the States making millions of dollars and going back home, eh? They had a good time. Drank a lot of beer. Bought a lot of cars, trucks and boats - and took them all back home - trash-talkin' the States the whole time. What really gets me when somebody trash-talks the country is ... dang it,... they're usually right!

| Mexican government increasing fight against US immigration laws
yet another attempt of a foreign government to end US immigration laws and create a no-holds-barred open southern border scenario, the Mexican Senate has "ruled" that the USA has no right to deport illegal-alien Mexicans from its country. Citing the recent ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) deportation of, at least, two-time-offender illegal alien Elvira Arellano, Mexican Senator Humberto Zazue said: "We cannot remain quiet in view of this injustice and must ask for firm action from our authorities!" Firm action from our authorities? What is Zazue advocating? Increased violence from Mexican "authorities" at our southern border, perhaps? Is this another step in Mexico’s plan to take portions of the US as Mexican territories? We have a foreign government now virtually demanding that the USA disband its immigration policies and laws — and allow Mexican nationals to enter the country in one of the biggest free-for-alls in American history. We have the ostensible leadership within the US Border Patrol siding with that foreign government’s scheme. And we, also, have our own US government representatives from the Legislative and Executive branches working toward pushing illegal immigration down the throats of We-the-People. Increasingly, only the legal inhabitants of the United States of America are required to uphold the laws of that country. Illegal aliens and their supporters are under no such dictate or obligation in these escalating lawless cities and towns. Our now discriminatory-against-legal-citizenship practices have developed into the norm, just as our actual laws have become as feckless as our current elected leadership. Isn’t it time to elect those who swear to uphold both our laws and our sovereignty? Isn’t it time to vote those who refuse to do so out of office? Isn’t it time to hold our leaders accountable for their actions or lack thereof? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding "Yes." The third President of the United States of America Thomas Jefferson said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Only We-the-People can decide whether or not this tree needs some severe pruning — and soon. |

I saw a parade this morning on TV. The hosts spoke only Spanish so I watched for a while trying to discern where it was taking place. I heard the words "Los Angeles, California" so I assume that was the location. There were thousands of Mexican flags but no stars and stripes anywhere. One question emerges, why are these people here? Then the answer became apparent, for the freebies. They evidentally love their homeland, nothing wrong with that, but you don't get freebies in Mexico. They are not here for the "opportunities" as were other immigrants, but for all the free stuff Americans in their misguided zeal will supply. |

You know Catfish, what ever happend to the good old days? It used to be a law that the Stars and Stripes along with the state flag would lead every parade. If you didn't have those, the parade would be shut down. Sad to say the least. But I want you to know that where I'm at, they still stand bold in front of every parade and always shall. Plus, every pole on the street has one standing proud. The American Legion makes sure of that. Last parade had 404 flags lining the street.

Just watched a small independant film called "America 101". Funny little movie about two Mexican brothers that come up here illegally looking for the American dream and decide they hate it and want to go back to Mexico.

| TEXAS ***** ADVISOR | Re: again, illegals take away from U.S. citizens
I scan this, and not really read anything said. But have a general idea of the topic... so keep that in mind when you read my response. I was born and raised in El Paso TX.. if you dont know where that is, goto google maps and type it in. Growing up in the 70's there was many military families here mostly white, we had a Mexican Maid named Carmen, that is my earliest memory of a hispanic person. I recall a city full of life and green and being very clean and safe. Then as I got older in the 80's it started to change for the worst crime was on a major rise and gang activity was real bad. We had a major influx of illegal labor, and many illegals weredoing just what the poster claims having anchor babies, hoping over the boarder and having a baby either at Thomason, or by midwife in this country. So many have come here in the short years I have been aliove they have built 3 huge housing projects here filled to the brim with hispanic families. Now I understand being a caucasian this will peg me as a raciest because I am complaining about the influx of illegals. If that is the case gues I will have to live with that title. I think we forget that this is a crime they are doing, and as a cop I feel when breaking the law you should be punished, even if its just a slap on the wrist and your sent back to your country of origin. I can accept the fact they want to better thier lives and that of thier families.. and I dont fault anyone for that.. but there is a better way, why not try to effect change in your country and get them to enrich your lives.. bring jobs and what ever it is your lacking now or are trying to get in America. If that cant happen then try to enter this country legally. That is all for now.. I am late for an appointment and will give more later.. Pant.
