Got your xmas lights and tree up yet? How about some pics?

Got them up yet? I've got the tree up...but hubby still has to do the outside lights.
Would be fun to see some pics after you folks get yours up. I'll post some when we get the house lights up.

They look great. I like the last two best. Is it still hot where you're at or has it cooled off and looking like xmas weather. I like the hope decoration. A white tree...we use to get ours flocked. Love the affect.

When I was a small child my grandmother had an all white three like that. It was always decorated in blue silver and white. She had a room off the main entrance that was All blue and white. A white couch, 2 blue chairs, blue curtains, with white ones inside. Blue carpet.. and then the very pretty cherry wood furniture.. and every year This Tree would sit in the window. It was very special. Later on, some where along the way that tree was no longer used and we did live trees, and talk about a pain in the butt.. then we had a fake green one.. but it has always been Christmas for me when I see a white tree. So a couple years ago, I bought that one we decorated it in blue silver and white with pictures of my grandmother in it, since she had past away.. then the year after that it was Purple and Green. This year Black and White.. and so far I am really liking the way it has turned out.

We also have a 12 foot tree the wife and I made from a 4x4 and some old branches we found in a house we rented a while back.. just no place to put it this year. I should try to find the pictures of us decorating that one.. we used real teddy bears, full sized ones to decorate it.. thats how big the tree is. heh heh.

I know I am Pagan, but I really love the holidays. For me its the Winter Solstice. Time to light the path, and huddle with the ones we love and hold dear. I really love the music too.

But it has been in the 60's here so far pretty much all winter. Leaves still on the trees. So no does not feel like the Holidays at all, or feel like them weather wise. Except for the brief snow storm over Thanksgiving.
