I think she would be detrimental to him. She is such an attention whore, she would hurt him more than help him. Had she dropped out a while back and got on the Obama train when she knew there was no chance to win.. then I might of agreed he should make her as VP. But not now.. heck I would distance myself from her as far as you can. She is old school democrap.. he wants to be new school and about change.. then he needs to stay away from the clintons.

I see Obama as just a lot of hot air right now, and not much substance to stand behind. I think with Clinton, it will keep him grounded and get him through the political hurdles that would otherwise stall him and prevent him from creating "change".

Now with all the cards on the table I think he is in a no win. He will be called a sexist or raciest if he doesn't, if he does I think she will run over him like a train. I think McCain is the only one winning in this scenario. She can cause all this turmoil then just go back to the senate and laugh it up.

I think your thinking is flawed.. but thats what makes America great... we don't have to agree, or think alike. I will say his hot air he had last night after winning, was pretty damn good.. almost made me want to vote for him.. but then I thought about it some and realized I really don't know where he stands other than being a great talker, he does not have a record.. and John McCain does.. does that mean I will vote for McCain.. nope, he is not quite the right fit for me either. I want a guy like the President on the West Wing. I really liked that President. Too bad he was fictional.

No. For several reasons. Obama is black, and like it or not there is a risk of assasination. If that happens, we have the Clintonistas back in office. Another reason is that if he allows Hillary, then it's like bringing Bill right along with her. Do you really believe that the Clintons wouldn't try to impose their BS way of thinking on Obama? I am voting for McCain.

I would like to see Clinton in office ... Bill, that is. Hillary has shown a lot as well - and I'm still expecting a 3rd-party thing to happen ... But I don't think Hillary is the right person for Obama's presidency. I'm not sure who would be ... I seriously think another black-ish person would be right ... but the only one I can think of would be Condaleeza ... and while she is now well travelled, I have seen no political mettle to speak of. If he chooses a white then, ass-asination is a potential problem. Why not be like both Bushes - and name a gomer or a Gen. Rockjaw as V.P.? Someone nobody wants to see inherit the office? I did make a prediction some time back about McCain asking Hillary to be his Veep - that's still not too far-fetched for me ... at least, not today. I just don't want a Republican for a while - we spend too much time fixing things when they're done - and we're a little short on time lately, it seems.

In a room full of speakers, he continues to usually be the only one who is right! I daresay that he could probably convert any nay-sayer in a one-on-one engagement ... with the possible exception of the special-prosecuitto guy and a few women here and there ... and possibly panterro. Still the only successful president of the past 50 years. But for the record ... I think that I don't really like Hillary on a personal level - and probably ... maybe ... wouldn't care for Bubba either - but they're in politics. That s**t is insane!

While your reaction only indicates the source of many problems ... you are invited to contribute in more positive tones ... of course, it's not my thread so I merely dangle the invite. Of course, you've never appeared to be one that would be converted by simple facts and figures. Just accept it, old friend ... I'm right. Get over it! (ya ol' knothead). ![]()

I think you have better material though... I know these Bill Clinton jokes and Democrap/Republicant jokes you keep telling are hella-funny.

Bob Barr is a former republican ... senator? congressman? senator, I think. He was on one of the Comedy Central shows a couple days ago. Good Grief!

Bob Barr is the 3rd party candidate. The Libertarian. Less Government is what they are all about. Bob Barr 2008 — Liberty for America https://www.lp.org/members/newmember.shtml

They also go very well with that FBI signature of yours. Barr also voted to shrink the government small enough to fit in your bedroom. Look, not to tick anybody off - but the reality is ... Nader and the Green Party are a joke (with a few good ideas). And in the opposite corner are the Libertarians - also a joke (with a few good ideas). Nothing there - ain't gonna happen.

When I was a younger man - I used to have good ideas but now, for the life of me, I can't come up with a better plan. I mean, dang, we've been close to having an oligarchy lately - but this is something more in line with the Saudi's and Somali's and Pacific Islanders ... in line with Clans and Warlords ... ... which almost puts England in both, Monarchy and Oligarchy. Anarchy is not the answer but is the threatened outcome at the failure of any of the "archy's". Taoism is not the answer. Or is that now "Towel-ism"? So, in my decrepit form of thinking ... we either have to make this work - or I can do what I did in the 70's and 80's, i.e., move off to the woods with my axe, my 30:03, my bag o' beans and my cast-iron and hermitize ... only thing is, that axe gets hard to swing along about the age of ... of ... heck, I can't swing it today! Know whut I mean?

Bob Barr? Like the guy is going to win. Wasting your time with people nobody ever heard of? I don't like McCain. I don't like Osama either, but I'd rather have McCain in there than Mr. Black Power.
