Live feed isn't accurate?

I just made a post about avatars and I went back to live feed, even updated it and my post is not on the list? Not having much luck today:) Guess I'll go paint something:) Since I finally got caught up with my work until tomorrow.

I noticed the same thing with many posts that don't show up on live feed.

I saw it show up on the list. If somebody already replied to it, it might show their post instead of yours. It does have some bugs though which should eventually be worked out. I know pressing the back button to get back to it sometimes causes issues.

If, after going to talkstates, I go directly to the live feed instead of hitting the forum first, it'll all act like I'm not signed in and won't show other topics and such.

Which reminds me- on the homepage it thinks I'm not signed in, even though I am and it realizes I am once I go to another part of the site.

Yes, I saw that too today. I kept signing in and the top of the page didn't say welcome Isabel...not till I went to the forum. Haven't been able to get live feed to respond to updating. I was able to see it update quickly...now not happening.

to the right of the home link in the brown link bar above you will see live Feed.

This is a live view of posts headers as they are made. Good way to see what the last dozen or so posts are.

I was playing around with the link name. I think "Live Feed" might give new people a better idea of what it is than "iSpy" did.

2000+ would be nice. Yesterday was a new record for us with 308 posts.

Ok, I think I figured out why Live Feed does not work like I thought it would.

Live feed seems to give the newest posts live, but the newest post of a thread. So if I see Whitney posted and I leave live feed to post back, when I return, only my post will appear, not whitney's, because it is no longer the new post on that thread.

Am I right about this?
