Everybody is back in the Lounge again:)

Hi,

Back from my weekend trip. I was just going down the list of post and I see we are over 2,000 in the Lounge. Popular place. Just wish you served herbal tea:)

I'll pull ya a cup of green tea w/cranberry & pomegranate if you like - or green with ginseng - straight or sweet? Perhaps some Irish Breakfast Tea (Twinings)? (shot of Turkey 101 too if you like).

I like the first choice best. But it has to be herbal...I'm Mormon:) The cranberry & Pomegranate sound good. Everyone in this house is sick with coughs and runny noses. On my way now to the store for some tea and medicine.:)

Re: Everybody is back in the Lounge again:)

With my oldest son...on a road trip. When the older boys were little, I would hand one of them a map and say which way. We would be gone all weekend. No idea where we would end up. I decided to do it again...since the boys have such fond memories of the trips. We ended up at Blue Lake, california. By way of a 10 hour drive:) First we went to Clear Lake, picked up grandma, then redwoods, Ft. Bragg and the beach on the way. We just made up our minds as we went along. Rented a motel room at Blue Lake and my son fished.

The Roobois is such a good herbal tea. Love it. I like the one with a lion on the pkg. can't remember the name.:) A little honey with it and a piece of toast. The simple things in life.

Interesting how you did that with your kids. My dad used to hand me a map in Ca and tell me where we were going and said it was my job to get us there. I learned so well how to read a map and know my directions...that by the time I was 8 I got us from So CA to NY to FL and back to CA. And that was also talking side trips to see historical landmarks. I am so glad I can read a map because a couple of years ago I did a road trip with my friend and I was on some highway and she gave me the next highway I was supposed to take and when I asked her what direction she said down.

And the tea I drink comes from a tea shop where they mix it for you. I don't know if they have them where you are but it is called Tevana and worth every penny. As I drink coffee all day and night... now almost midnight and I have a cup with me.... I don't care for too many teas..but this place mixes the best!

Re: Everybody is back in the Lounge again:)

You know...I haven't been to a tea shop in years. I don't think we have one locally. But I'm going to check the town where I do my big shopping. I chuckled about the "direction she said down"

I have to admit, I'm terrible. I always ask for landmarks and big cities near by.:)

The baby has been home sick, from preschool, since the weekend. So she doesn't let me get on here for long. Now she wants something to drink:) So I got to go. Will try again tonight when she is asleep.
