Re: teeny tiny house anyone?

I like the idea. I have lived in Tepees and tents and other outdoor-oriented units. Great for the hermit, writer, studious, etc. Put a couple of them together along with a hot-tub unit and ... Ahhhhhh!
The accompanying article pretty-much lays it out but think of the effect units such as this could have on the homeless-problems, the emergency-housing necessitities that Katrina showed us we don't have, the just-graduated but not yet moved-out sons and daughters and more.
They have also offered log-cabins just slightly larger than this up in Star Valley, Wyoming for years - to be moved to your property.

Wyody, your thinking exactly like me. Let's see. An elk cabin with heat, a stove for cooking, an outhouse about 100 feet away. We are talking the Tajmahaul.

Katrina. I lost interest when one woman spoke up and said, "They brought us this damn trailer and it don't even have an ice maker."

I'm stasfied that I have a roof, and heat. I don't need anything else. I can put together anything else I need. A fire, some cast iron cooking utinsils. A rifle. I'm home.

I found this site funny. For 4 years I lived in a 16 ft trailer with a wood stove. No sewere, no running water. I was fine, Life was good.

Now, having said that, I really like what I saw. But I didn't see any prices. hahaha Would be interested in prices.

I wonder if Like Proeye... you would experience problems with reception for internet etc... that was his complaint about working in a metal building. I have seen lots of site for these "tiny homes." You can do a search for Tiny Homes and it pulls up quite a bit!
