Depends. Sometimes it is smoked oysters or sardines on crackers. Sometimes it is pickled herring on saltines. Sometimes it is cheese and pepperoni with crackers and sweet hot mustard. Sometimes it is salt and vinegar, balsamic vinegar, or honey mustard potato chips (Kettle chips are the best and made locally).

I generally don't eat "snacks" unless someone puts them in front of me, near me or within sight. At that point, the snacks are gone. My preference matters not.
I play in the Ice-Cream ... but for medicinal purposes only.

Dont you love how sandwich is spelled.. I think I would rather eat a samwich over a sandwich. wouldn't you? =)

If you guys want a great recipe for a snack, I got a good one. Also good to serve at parties.

One package cream cheese
Some fresh fully cooked peeled salad shrimp that have been rinsed and dried (the little pink ones)
Your favorite cocktail sauce
One package of your favorite crackers (Ritz work good for this)

Take cream cheese out of package and place it on a plate. Take a spoon and squish it down so that it is about 1/2 an inch thick. Take the shrimp and place it on top of the cream cheese and spread it out. Take the cocktail sauce and poor it over the shrimp (not too heavy). Take crackers and dip. Really good!!!

When I was in the Army, I used to eat a raw onion when someone messed up bad, and yell at them in formation. They didn't repeat the same mistake twice. =)

Salsa and chips. 53 has a great recipe for it. Posted here somewhere. Also, I have to have something sweet after meals. Chocolate is my downfall. Chocolate and peanut butter:)

My hubby loves a peanut butter and miracle whip 'samich'. Sometimes he will even put american cheese on it. Yuk.

One of my favorite snacks is dipping baked pita bread slices with olive oil brushed on them into hummus. I also have the world's biggest Cadbury Creme Egg addiction. That's my only chocolate vice!

Mmmm, hummus is good. It is also good with tortilla chips.

PB and miracle whip?

I knew someone that liked PB and ketchup. Said it tasted better than jelly.
