Is moving to Delaware a good thing?

Thinking of Odessa, Smyrna, Dover areas. How far can I go south in order to have a commute to Wilmington/Philly within an hour? What can I do there with a four & three year old boys other than the beaches?

I'm in the north of the state in Wilmington and Dover is about an hour drive south, and Philly is around a half hour to 45 minute drive north.

It's a nice state, but not the most interesting. Best you an probably do with the kids is hunt down some parks or school playgrounds, etc, the usual in most any area. We have the still new "Blue Diamond" amusement and sport park up in this end, but I haven't been yet so I can't say if they have much for kids.
