stay in DC for the money? or move to Florida for sunshine?

I currently work at a family owned business outside Washington DC...Lately I'e been thinking about relocating to West Palm Beach, Florida.

In DC, if I stay and help run the family business I'd make more money. I would also get to see my parents and siblings on a regular basis. However, I absolutley HATE the cold months from October to April. In addition, there is some tension between certain family members. I really dont want to be involved in any of that. Id rather be the sister in Florida that my siblings can run to. But above all I just don't like the DC area at all.
In Florida, I would more than likely work in an entry-level accounting position. I wouldn't make much money, but I think I would be happier there. I love the attitude of people who live down South. It really seems like the perfect place for my husband and I to start my own family.

Any thoughts? THANKS!!!

I say go to Florida! You are only young once and if that is the adventure you want to take, go for it! Money doesnt give you happiness. Go live life!
