Universal Studios is burning to the ground.. any thoughts?

Well, one of the things that is burning or has burned was a set for "Back to the Future" ~and~
it occurs to me that I should be wondering ... "has it already burned before - and/or will it again in the future ... or is all that in the past"?

A vault.
Doesn't sound like too safe of a vault.
Hope the reels and videos aren't collectible - 'cause they ain't anymore.

that is sad... they lost so much. I love Universal... I used to go there often as did my son.

Universal Studios is open to the public today - even while those two blocks are still smokin'.
As you know, a set used in the King Kong movie(s?) was also lost.
The Kong family was not at the site at the time of the fire and could not be reached directly for comment - however, they released a statement thru a Kong family spokeschimp that read: "OOOOOOH-EEEEEEE-OOOOOOH-AH-AH" - which translates to "uh ... uh-uh ... uhn ... uh" (for those who only read gorillaese).
Apparently, the family has no immediate plans to rebuild.

Has anyone else visited this attraction? I was too cheap for the tram but did walk around what was the new york looking area. I was suprised to see that the sidewalks were wood painted to look like cement. All smoke and mirrors

Perhaps that is why it burned so fast,
