Pictures of Destin and Navarre Beach

Here are some new pics from the beautiful area we live in...everything from landscape to restaurants to sunsets. Please keep in mind that I was taking these pictures WHILE we were driving. (I wasn't driving ) There was no place to pull over to get the best scenes unless we were ON the bridge. It was a challenge, but we had a great day. Hope you enjoy them.

Kim, those are some great sunset pics! Also good to meet the family. You look like very lucky and happy folk. The Atlantic so differs from the Pacific in most places. It'd be great to have some Baja-coast pics to compare.

Thanks, guys...there was just no way to describe everything with words and there are so many more things, but we ran out of time. I'm very fortunate and thankful for it. Any pics of the Atlantic, Pacific or from ANYWHERE would be so much fun to see.

Thanks, Panterro. McGuires has such a fun atmosphere...live Irish music every night, hundreds of thousands of dollars hanging from the ceiling and absolutely fantastic food (Shepherd Pie to die for). All of their beer is homemade and starts at 5% alcohol content. Not for the wimps, that's for sure!

Pan, that picture was from Pensacola Beach, last fall when we took our first trip over here. The weather wasn't all that great, but the cloud formations were really cool. That part of the beach was a little messy at that time, much better, now.

Thank you, Curious...as to where all the bikini babes were, WE were taking the pics, silly! The beaches were plentiful with babes and studs last week...spring break.

There's something so soothing about Celtic music...I've always liked the bagpipes and I love the recorder or wooden flute sound, also. Always reminds me of people having fun.

The daughter told me about limewire so I have downloaded some at work , lately I have been listing to Lorenna Mckennitt she has some from the highlander movie an some others that are just nice an soothing to listen to also Celtic women have some good ones to. I usually pick a few an put them on continues play an let the mind wonder, there good listening when you have your own privet time an no distractions , they seem to unwind me an remind me of the less complicated times in life , just real relaxing.
