Moving to Tampa?

Is it a good idea? is it easy to find a job there and how hot is it this time of year or does it get cold every now and then. I have 2 grand saved up is that enough to make it with a 4 year old child until I find a job?

it depends on what you do in how quickly you will find a job. we have lots of low paying jobs. yet our housing market is insane. its not hot this time of year and Jan/Feb are our coldest months. and if you are using that money to move, down payment on an apt, turn on utilities, you won't make it. find a job first then move. otherwise you'll be another drain on our system.

I really don't think $2,000 is enough to come down. If you don't find a job then what? It has been getting hotter each winter in Florida. It use to get cooler in Sept. but the past few years have been in the high 80's till about Nov. Dec. in SWFlorida
